Aerial Media Studio — Greater Houston

Aerial media for people who build things.

AGL400 produces aerial photography, video, and mapping for commercial real estate, construction, and infrastructure teams across Greater Houston. FAA Part 107 licensed. Fully insured.

We work with teams who need aerial media that holds up in a boardroom, a listing, or a permit filing — not just a pretty picture.

Selected Work

Three projects, told properly — the brief, the constraint, and what shipped.

Aerial view of Gran Plaza commercial property, Houston
Commercial Real Estate

Two sites, two states, one weekend.

The brief
A development group needed current aerial coverage of two properties in different states for an investor presentation the following Monday.
The constraint
Less than 48 hours of lead time, and a narrow weather window at the second site.
What shipped
Full aerial photo sets of both properties, color-graded and delivered Sunday night — ahead of the Monday deadline.
Aerial view of active construction site with equipment
Infrastructure

Inspection without the scaffolding.

The brief
Detailed visual inspection of elevated structures that would otherwise require lift equipment and a crew.
The constraint
Active site — flights planned around working hours and personnel on the ground.
What shipped
High-resolution stills of every inspection point, organized and labeled for the engineering team's review.
Top-down nadir aerial capture for mapping
GIS & Mapping

Imagery that lines up with the data.

The brief
Georeferenced aerial imagery a county team could drop straight into their existing GIS workflow.
The constraint
Output had to match established coordinate systems and file conventions — no rework on their side.
What shipped
Orthomosaic imagery delivered in the team's native formats, built on a working background in IT and GIS.

How a Project Runs

No mystery, no improvisation. Every engagement follows the same five steps.

Consultation

A short call to understand the site, the deliverable, and the deadline. You get a fixed quote — no hourly meters.

Flight Plan

Airspace check, LAANC authorization if required, shot list, and a weather window. Planned before anything flies.

Clearance

Insurance certificates, site access coordination, and any property permissions handled up front.

The Shoot

Flown to the plan. If weather scrubs the window, we reschedule at no cost — you never pay for a flight that didn't happen.

Delivery

Edited stills within 48 hours; video and mapping products per the agreed timeline. Delivered how your team works.

Honest Answers

The questions clients actually ask, answered plainly.

What does a typical project cost?

Most single-site photo shoots in the Greater Houston area land in the low hundreds; video and mapping projects are quoted by scope. Every quote is fixed before the shoot — you'll never see a surprise line item.

What happens if the weather turns?

The flight gets rescheduled at no cost. Wind, rain, and low visibility aren't just quality problems — they're safety and legal problems. We don't fly marginal conditions, and you don't pay for a flight that didn't happen.

Can you fly near an airport or in controlled airspace?

Often, yes. Much of Greater Houston sits in controlled airspace, and we obtain LAANC authorization or FAA waivers as part of the flight plan. That's handled before shoot day, not discovered on it.

Who owns the footage?

You do. Deliverables come with usage rights for your business. We may ask to include selected shots in our portfolio — and we ask, not assume.

Are you actually licensed and insured?

Yes — FAA Part 107 certificated, insured, with a verified safety record on Airdata. Certificates of insurance are available for any client or site that requires one.

Tell us what you're building.

No forms, no ticket queues. Reach out directly — you'll hear back within one business day.
